Privacy policy
PlanCost ("we", "us") at plancost.com is operated by JAG Development Texas LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit plancost.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you join our email list, request a download, submit a form, buy a product, or contact us, we collect what you submit, typically your name, email address and the content of your message, and for quote requests, your ZIP code, project type, timeline and phone number if you choose to share it.
- Usage data. Our hosting provider and any privacy-friendly analytics tool we use may record basic technical information such as pages viewed, referring site, browser type and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Cookies. We keep cookies to a minimum. Third parties we link to (for example affiliate partners, checkout providers or advertising partners) may set their own cookies when you visit or click through to their sites; their own privacy policies apply there.
How we use information
- To send the emails, downloads or responses you asked for.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Quote requests
If you submit the "get quotes" form, we may share the details you provide with one or more independent service providers or a lead-matching partner so they can contact you about your project. We will name any such partner on this page before sharing begins. You can ask us not to share your request by emailing us.
Advertising
We may show ads from third-party ad networks, which may use cookies to show relevant ads. Where required, we'll ask for your consent.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the site, including our web host (Cloudflare) and an email/newsletter service, advertising networks (once enabled), and any lead-matching partner named on our quote page. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the partner may use cookies to record that you came from PlanCost so that we can earn a commission. See our disclosure.
Your choices and rights
- Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing ej_grenier@hotmail.com.
- Depending on where you live (for example California, Texas, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the "last updated" date when we do.
